Austin, Texas wide receiver Emory Blake wants to play in the SEC.

Austin, Tex.--One of the top wide receivers in Texas, Emory Blake put an end to his recruiting on Wednesday as he signed with the Auburn Tigers over Texas Tech and Colorado.

The 6-2, 190-pounder with 4.5 speed is rated a three-star prospect by and could be the answer at a number of different positions in offensive coordinator Gus Malzhan's offense. Familiar with the coach after being recruited by him while has still at Tulsa, Blake cites the coach as one of the reasons why he signed with Auburn.

Playing in a spread offense at Austin High, Blake excelled while seeing time at quarterback, running back and wide receiver for his team. As a senior he made 64 catches for 963 yards and nine touchdowns. He also rushed the ball 134 times for just over 700 yards. Throw in kickoff and punt return duties and Blake says he was around 2,000 all-purpose yards for the season.
