College Station, Tex.--Auburn remained in fifth place going into the third and final day at the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships.

Cal finished Friday night's competition with 302 points. Georgia is second with 295.5 points followed by Arizona 282.5, Stanford 213.5, Auburn with 195 and Texas with 168.

Auburn's top performance in day two was a second place finish in the 100 backstroke by Rachel Goh, a two-time NCAA champion in the event. She swam a time of 51.61.

The Tigers were hoping to win the 800 freestyle relay after setting a U.S. Open record in the event at the SEC Championships, but Auburn finished eighth in the event at 7:04.85, more than 10 seconds off their SEC time.

The Tigers had more disappointment in the 400 individual medley as junior Ava Ohlgren, a previous champion in the event, didn't make the "A" finals and won the consolation finals on Friday night.
