Auburn-Troy Game Postponed

Auburn's scheduled game Wednesday night at Troy has been postponed because of the weather.

Auburn, Ala.--With rainy weather throughout the Southeast, Auburn's baseball game Wednesday night at Troy has been postponed and will be made up April 29. The two teams will play April 28 in Auburn at 6 p.m. and travel to Troy the next night for the make-up game also set for 6 p.m.

Last night Auburn broke a three-game losing streak by bombing Samford 18-7 in Birmingham. Joseph Sanders had two home runs, including a grand slam, and six RBI to lead the Tigers while catcher Tony Caldwell continued his hot hitting with four hits.

Auburn (16-8, 2-4) returns to action this weekend as the Vanderbilt Commodores (15-8, 2-4) travel to Plainsman Park for a three-game series. Game times are scheduled for 6 p.m. on Friday, 3 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.
