Auburn Makes Big Impression on Big Lineman

A report is featured on 2010 football prospect O.C. Brown from Memphis.

Memphis, Tenn.--Linemen are a priority for the 2010 Auburn football signee class and the Tigers are showing interest in a big junior offensive tackle out of Manassas High School named O.C. Brown.

In return, the 6-2 1/2, 312-pounder is showing interest in the Tigers.

"Auburn would be a good place for me to go to school," Brown tells Inside the Auburn Tigers. "It is like a loving family. Auburn is my favorite."

Brown has picked up three early offers from Southern Miss, Colorado and Kentucky and more are likely on the way.

Just 16 years old, Brown says he is still growing and is not sure how much bigger he will get. He participated in the U.S. Army All-American Combine in San Antonio after his junior season and performed well there.

Brown visited Auburn's practice and campus on Thursday and says he was impressed with what he saw. "I like Auburn," he said. "It is beautiful."

Brown notes that he will play on both the offensive and defensive lines as a senior, but says that Auburn is recruiting him as an offensive guard. He notes that he watched Auburn's current offensive linemen working out with position coach Jeff Grimes. They were looking good," he said.
