UGA just offered him a couple of weeks ago when he took an unofficial visit there during the week. Since then, he has picked up a couple of new offers and taken a visit to Auburn, but he felt Athens was the place for him.
That pleases the Dawgs and they like what they are getting in Houston.
"Coach Richt said that I have the body type and athleticism that they want in one of their offensive signees this year. Coach Searels told me he really likes my physicalness and how I know how to win (back to back state championships at Buford)."
Athleticism and winning attitude is not all Houston will take with him to UGA. He is also an honor student and very versatile.
He was offered by South Carolina as a defensive tackle and he could play anywhere along the offensive line on the next level. His home in Athens under Coach Searels will likely be an interior OL and he is fine with that.
Houston is currently the second rated offensive lineman in the state of Georgia on Scout.com and he joins Jalen Fields on Georgia's 2010 commitment list.
