Senior right fielder Ben Jones was named SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year.
Sophomore center fielder Trent Mummey was named to the league's all-defensive team.
Third baseman Joseph Sanders was named a second team all-conference player.
Jones, in his first year as a starter, hit .274 with 10 home runs, 13 doubles and 50 RBI. The mechanical engineering major from Decatur has a 3.84 grade point average and is expected to be named to the league's all-academic team for a third straight time this year. Jones is Auburn's 2008-2009 men's student athlete of the year.
Sanders, a junior from Millbrook, was in the hunt to lead the nation in home runs before being sidelined by a broken jaw that caused him to miss nearly a month of action. He hit 19 homers with 14 doubles, 55 RBI and a .737 slugging percentage. He is second on the team in batting average at .320.
Mummey, a sophomore from Pinson, finished the regular season with a .995 fielding percentage. He has a .289 batting average and his 66 runs scored leads the SEC. He has 15 home runs, 12 doubles, three triples and 42 RBI.
Kris West, a senior pitcher from Huntsville, was named to the league's community service team. He has done extensive volunteer work with youth and serves as a volunteer firefighter and emergency medical technician for Monrovia Fire And Rescue.
Alabama's Kent Matthes was named SEC Player of the Year and LSU's Louis Coleman was selected as the top pitcher. Florida first baseman Preston Tucker and LSU pitcher Matty Ott shared Freshman of the Year honors and LSU's Paul Mainieri was voted coach of the year.
