Football Prospect Plans One More Visit

This in-state high school football player visited Auburn last weekend.

Athens, Ala.--Running back Jason Jude says that he is still "committed" to Auburn, but that isn't keeping him from taking a third official visit this coming weekend.

The 6-0, 224-pounder from Athens, Ala., High School told Inside the Auburn Tigers on Wednesday that he plans to visit Mississippi State. ‘I am still committed to Auburn, but I am going to taken another visit because I want to have a good time," he said. Prior to Christmas, he visited Memphis.

Jude said he enjoyed his official visit to Auburn this past weekend and said he is looking forward to getting back on the football field in August. A player who publically committed to the Tigers last summer, he missed much of his senior season due to injury.

Jude has been cleared by his doctor to start running again. "I have been jogging for three or four weeks," he said. If he comes to Auburn, Jude is expected to be a backup fullback behind Brandon Johnson, who will be a senior this fall.
