Dixon: Yes sir.
What are you hoping to get out of the camp?
Dixon: I'm going just to try to learn some new things about football that I could bring back for my teammates.
What part of your game are you working on this summer?
I'm working on my footwork mostly—body control, coming out of my back pedal and staying low.
And what's the best part of your game?
Dixon: My eye for the ball.
Is there a safety out there that you're similar to or you try to model your game after?
Dixon: I'm probably a little like Ed Reed.
Which Auburn coach have you been hearing from?
Dixon: Coach (Curtis) Luper.
How long have you been talking with him?
Dixon: I talked to him yesterday (Tuesday), but I've only talked to him two or three times.
Is he trying to recruit you or is he just trying to get you to come to camp?
Dixon: He just wants me to come over to camp. He knows that I'm committed to Baylor. He just wants to give me an opportunity, and if I do decide to change my mind to have Auburn as one of the teams. He's not really trying to recruit me. He wants me to come out to the camp, and that's it really.
Suppose you have a really good time and get along well with everybody, would you considering opening yourself up and taking a look at Auburn?
Dixon: I really don't know.
Do you keep in touch with those guys?
Dixon: Yes, I do.
Both of those guys are looking at several schools. What do ya'll talk about when it comes to recruiting?
Dixon: Just take it one step at a time really. At first we all wanted to go to the same college and play for the same college. They're really just saying go to where is best for yourself.
Who are you going to be traveling with to Auburn?
Dixon: Trovon Reed and Lache.
Do you have any family coming along too?
Dixon: No, it will just be us.
Have you started thinking about official visits?
Dixon: I'm thinking about taking some in September.
Do you know which schools?
Dixon: I don't know yet.
Are you guys going to the LSU camp on Sunday?
Dixon: It depends on if I leave the Auburn camp in time. I'm not sure if I'll make that one.
Is there anything in Auburn you're wanting to do like check out the facilities, the campus or anything like that?
Dixon: Yeah. The guys that I'm with want me to see the campus, see the facilities and meet all the coaches. We're going to do that, and that's about it. Just make friends. Me personally, I'm a friendly guy. I like having a lot of friends really.
