Tres Houston talks Auburn camp

Tres Houston, prospect from Banneker High School in College Park, Ga., has been in close contact with Auburn. He likes his chances of receiving an offer from the Tigers.

"I've been to a couple of camps at Auburn," Tres Houston stated. "Hopefully I'll get an offer from them soon. They invited me back to one of their camps after they saw me at a 7-on-7 camp. They said I had nice feet and good ball skills."

"I was at their camp on Saturday. The coaches said they're gonna sit down and talk about an offer for me. I played corner at the camp. I performed really well there. I think there's a very good chance I'll get an offer from them."

Houston discussed his current leaders, and his "real leader."

"Toledo and Indiana are leading," he said. "They've both offered, and they're my favorite two schools that have offered. My real leader is Auburn, though. I have a few teammates that are going there."

"Their (Auburn) facilities are the best. Everything at Auburn is welcoming. It feels like home, and it's not too far away."

"If they (Auburn) offer I'm pretty sure I'll commit to them."

Houston is a multi-positional player. He can effectively play several positions on the field.

"Most schools are recruiting me as an athlete," he said. "I've played quarterback, wide receiver, and a few different positions on defense. Even Auburn said they'd be recruiting me as an athlete. They (Auburn) wanna see what I can do on both sides of the ball."
