Center Worthy of Attention

A report on rising junior football prospect from south Alabama is featured.

Spanish Fort, Ala.--A prospect to watch for the 2011 signee class performed well at Auburn's Senior Football Camp this past weekend.

Reese Dismukes, a 6-3, 270-pounder, was the starting center as a sophomore for Spanish Fort High School.

"I am getting a bunch of letters from schools to come to camps and stuff, but no offers yet," he tells Inside the Auburn Tigers.

Commenting on his visit to Auburn, he says, "It was a good camp. I worked hard and had fun."

Dismukes was in familiar territory while checking out Coach Gene Chizik's Tigers. He notes that he is an Auburn fan. "I have had season tickets to Auburn my whole life, but I am not scared to go somewhere else," he says.

After the camp the rising junior met with Auburn's coaches and he plans to be back on campus this fall for unofficial visits. "I plan to go to all of the Auburn games," he says.

By the time he is ready to sign scholarship papers in February of 2011, he is likely to be bigger than he is now. "I am still growing," he points out. "I am hoping I get to about 6-4, 300 pounds."
