"My visit went good," Thomas tells Inside The Auburn Tigers. "I basically sat around and talked with players and visited with Coach (Mike) Price. It went good. My player host was number 47 (Mark Anderson). I liked Coach Price and my recruiting coach and the players."
Having already made visits to Notre Dame and Auburn, Thomas says that the visit was similar to ones he has made already, but it didn't help him to make up his mind any sooner. With a possible visit to Georgia this coming weekend, Thomas says that he has no plans to rush his decision, which could come at any time.
"Compared to Auburn it was about the same," Thomas says of the visit. "There were about 15-17 good athletes. It was a good class that was up there with me. There were two other good linebackers.
"I have three leaders right now--Auburn, Alabama and Notre Dame. I'll probably visit Georgia this weekend. I couldn't tell you when I'll make a decision, whenever I decide I guess."
Thomas, along with Smiths Station teammate Michael Hill, visited Alabama this weekend in the first recruiting effort for Price and his new coaching staff. Hill was previously committed to Alabama before Coach Dennis Franchione left for Texas A&M.
