Defensive End Trims List To Just Two Schools

Cutting his list in half on Sunday, this defender says he's getting closer to making a decision.

Greenville, Miss.--Star defensive end Quentin Groves says that he is down to just two schools after thinking about his future for the better part of the weekend. A 6-4, 230 speed rusher with the ability to play right away, Groves notes that he is looking at just two SEC West teams as signing day draws near.

"It's Auburn and Mississippi State," Groves tells Inside The Auburn Tigers. "I like Coach (John) Blake at Mississippi State. He's who I really like. Chette Williams at Auburn is who I really like. The coaches at both schools were nice but I really like Chette."

In addition to the Tigers and Bulldogs, Groves also visited Georgia and Ole Miss and had offers from dozens of other schools across the South.
