Quarterback Still Considering Options

This quarterback commitment to the Tigers said Sunday that he's still looking at another school.

Phenix City, Ala.--Talented quarterback Kelcy McKissic-Luke from Central High committed to the Auburn Tigers and Coach Tommy Tuberville almost two months ago. Since that time Alabama has changed coaching staffs and Coach Mike Price and company appear to have made in-roads that the former staff couldn't as McKissic-Luke says that he's still considering Alabama as he heads into signing day.

"I'm still solid to Auburn," McKissic-Luke tells Inside The Auburn Tigers, "but I'm still considering Alabama."

A standout quarterback for three seasons for Coach Ron Nelson, the 6-1, 195 McKissic-Luke has been a top priority for the Tigers since early last fall. He finished his career with a record of 29-7 overall and was a finalist for the 6A Offensive Back of the Year in Alabama.

McKissic-Luke says he plans to sign his letter of intent at his high school at 9:30 eastern time Wednesday morning.
