Collier, a 6-2, 215-pound rover and linebacker, picked the Tigers over FSU and Georgia.
Doolittle, a 6-3, 260-pound fullback/defensive end, selected the Tigers over Georgia and others. Doolittle came into his senior season as a well-known recruit, but Collier had to earn his reputation as a senior after playing only basketball the previous two seasons.
Doolittle spent most of his senior year on offense after playing mostly on defense as a junior. With good speed in the 4.7 range, he could play either fullback or on defense in college.
Collier played in the secondary for Coach Spence McCracken's Bulldogs where he quickly earned a reputation as a big hitter and a speedster with a best clocking of 4.49 in the 40-yard dash. Collier continues to play basketball and is averaging 14 points per game for the Bulldogs in that sport.
