Jacksonville, Fla.--Rashad Knight, a standout defensive back at Trinity Christian Academy, is expected to take an official visit to Auburn this weekend.

A 5-10, 175-pounder rated as a three-star cornerback prospect by Scout.com, Knight now has a scholarship offer from Auburn to go with ones from Michigan, West Virginia, Illinois, Vanderbilt and others.

An honorable mention Class 2B All-State selection last year as a junior, Knight is expected to join junior college defensive end Ken Adams, linebacker Jessel Curry, offensive lineman Chad Slade, receiver Shaun Kitchens and safety Demetruce McNeal on official visits to Auburn this weekend.

Curry, who is playing in the Georgia 2A state championship game on Friday night for Buford High School, is a verbal commitment to the Tigers as are Banneker High teammates McNeal and Kitchens from College Park, Ga., and Slade, who plays at Moody High School.
