Part 1: Jake Holland's All-American Diary

This is the first in a series of reports on linebacker prospect Jake Holland's experiences preparing for and playing in the Under Armour All-American Football Game.

Editor's Note: This is the first in a series of reports featuring Auburn football commitment Jake Holland's experiences preparing for and playing in the Under Armour All-American Football Game that is scheduled for Saturday at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. Holland made 153 tackles as a senior as he earned first team Class 6A All-State honors for Pelham High School.

"I arrived in Orlando on Monday with my family and we got to spend time at Disney World. We are staying at the Coronado Springs Resort here on the Disney property, which is near where we will be practicing. I haven't seen any of the other players yet. I heard the guys coming in from out west are flying in and arriving on Tuesday.

"Tuesday is when we will have registration for the all-star game and we get fitted for our uniforms and pick up our Under Armour gear. My roommate is going to be V.J. Fehoko from Hawaii. He and I are the middle linebackers for the White Team. I think there are 44 players on each team.

"LaDarius Owens (Auburn linebacker commitment) is on our (Black) team and Michael Dyer (Auburn running back commitment), Antonio Goodwin (Auburn wide receiver commitment) and Dakota Mosley (Auburn tight end commitment) are playing on the White Team.

"I don't know the practice schedule yet. We will find out at our registration and orientation meeting. I do know we are going to Disney World on Wednesday night and bowling on Thursday night. We will be practicing at Disney's Wide World of Sports and the game will be played in St. Petersburg where the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team plays.

"I am excited about the opportunity to compete with and against the top prospects in the country. I have been working out for more than a month now since the end of the season to get ready for this game. I have been working with a personal training to get repaired and ready to go after the pounding you take playing a full season of football.

"My goal is to play as well as I can, enjoy the experience and see how I can do against the best high school players from around the country. I think it will be a lot of fun. I am ready to get started."
