Editor's Note: This is the fourth in a series of reports featuring Auburn football commitment Jake Holland's experiences preparing for and playing in the Under Armour All-American Football Game that is scheduled for Saturday at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., at 10 a.m. CST. Holland made 153 tackles as a senior as he earned first team Class 6A All-State honors for Pelham, Ala., High School.

St. Petersburg, Fla.--"We didn't do a lot today (New Year's Day). We had a walk-through to get ready for the game. There wasn't anything physical. The coaches want to make sure we have fresh legs.

"I was able to watch most of the Outback Bowl game. It was pretty good. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the overtime, but I am glad we won and I thought we played good. It was a really exciting game that got close at the end.

"The night before (New Year's Eve) we went bowling and had a good time. Everybody starting bowling on everybody else's lane so we didn't really keep score. The previous night we went to Disney, but I didn't stay very long because where we went was more for little kids.

"The second day of practice (Thursday) was pretty good. I didn't have any interceptions, but I thought I?played well and got some pressure on the quarterback.

"I have talked to a lot of the players in the all-star game and I have done some recruiting, but most of the guys are already committed. One guy I talked to is Eric Mack and I think he is interested in Auburn.

"For the game I am just looking to get out there and do a good job of carrying out my assignments. I want to play fast and make a lot of tackles."
