Washington High speedster Antonio Goodwin has signed to play for the Auburn Tigers.
Atlanta, Ga.--A prospect expected to bring more speed to the wide receiver corps has signed with Gene Chizik's Tigers.
Antonio Goodwin from Washington High School, the subject of a heated recruiting battle between the Tigers and Georgia Bulldogs, says, "I really like Auburn's offensive system and the coaches."
Goodwin was the second signee for the Tigers on Wednesday.
At 6-1, 180 pounds with sub 4.5 speed, he is rated as a four-star recruit by Scout.com and is ranked as the No. 30 wide receiver prospect in the nation.
Goodwin, who scored seven touchdowns and finished his senior season with more than 800 receiving yards, played in the Under Armour All-American in January.
