Tigers Flounder On Day Two at NCAA Meet

West LaFayette, Ind.--Auburn struggled on day two of the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships dropping three spots to 10th place going into Saturday's final day of competition.

"Today was a struggle for the team," Auburn coach Brett Hawke said. "We had a bad preliminary session and had to do the best we could tonight during the finals. We're hoping to bounce back tomorrow and qualify swimmers in individual events to score more points."

Auburn's best finish on Friday was a 12th place in the 200 medley relay with Melissa Marik, Micah Lawrence, Arianna Vanderpool-Wallace and Hannah Riordan swimming a time of 1:38.99.
