Dismukes Makes Return Visit to Auburn

One of the state's top football prospects for the 2011 signee class discusses his unofficial visit to Auburn.

Spanish Fort, Ala.--Signing offensive linemen is a high priority for Auburn's 2011 football recruiting class and Reese Dismukes says his visit to Auburn on Saturday made it clear to him that he is a high priority recruit for Coach Gene Chizik's Tigers.

"I watched the team practice and then after that I talked to Coach Grimes for about 30 minutes," the center from Spanish Fort High tells Inside the Auburn Tigers.

"Coach (Jeff) Grimes was telling me that they would really like me to play at Auburn and how I would fit in with the team," Dismukes says off his conversation with Auburn's offensive line coach.

Standing close to 6-4 and weighing in at 283 pounds, Dismukes is working out getting ready for his final season of high school football. He notes that he is doing some rehab work on a shoulder, but says he will be on the field for spring practice that starts in May.

"I will be full speed and ready to go," he says.

Dismukes, who is being heavily recruited by Auburn and Alabama and others, was expected to commit to the Tide earlier this year, but delayed that decision and Auburn looks to be squarely in the picture.

A prospect who is receiving plenty of attention from out of state programs, too, he says his latest offer is from Georgia Tech.

He notes that when he is ready to make his choice he wants to find a place where he feels he will fit in best on and off the field for his entire four years in college.

Commenting on his latest visit to Auburn, Dismukes says, "It was real good and I enjoyed it. There were a lot of people at this junior day. I would say there were hundreds."
