Productive LB/DE Drawing Attention

A report with video highlights is featured on an in-state 2011 defensive prospect who visited Auburn.

Gadsden, Ala.--Terrick Wright has a knack for making big plays on the other team's side of the football.

The six-foot-three, 210-pound outside linebacker who first broke into the starting lineup during his ninth grade season, Wright is drawing interest from high profile football programs. As he finishes his junior year at Gadsden City High he hopes that interest turns into offers.

Auburn, Alabama, Florida State and LSU are among the colleges showing interest. However, he is still waiting for one of them to offer a scholarship.

Wright, who also plays defensive end, was one of the prospects who was in Auburn last weekend for the Tigers' most recent junior day.

"It was a nice visit," he says. "We checked out the academics and I visited the Auburn locker room. We also checked out the weight room, which is the most important thing to me. We also visited the stadium, too."

A three-sport athlete, he is also on the track team and plays basketball. Commenting on his style of play on a football field, he says, "I think I work hard and make a lot of big plays. That is my mentality."
