"I went to Alabama yesterday," said Chris Landrum. "It went good. It was all right. I went up there for the practice.
"They are going to be pretty good. I was watching the 'Mike' linebacker position. They are all right. I think they are pretty good. Dont'a Hightower stood out to me. He is pretty good.
"I talked to coach Saban, coach Pendry, and the defensive coordinator [Kirby Smart] while I was there. They were just talking to me about their school and stuff like that. I like the Bama coaches."
Landrum departed Tuscaloosa with a lot to think about during the next several months with the two in-state SEC schools as the likely finalists for his signature.
"I really enjoyed the visit," he said. "I like their facilities. Both Alabama and Auburn have nice facilities. They both have the same stuff to offer. Everyone is equal on my list right now. I do not have an overall favorite."
