On Sunday his walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth inning was the game-winner in Auburn's 6-5 victory over Kentucky to improve his team's SEC record to 10-8 and give the Tigers a 2-1 series victory.
Morris finished the week 8-13 at the plate as he hit two home runs, two triples, two doubles and two singles. That computes to a 1.538 slugging percentage.

Morris was also walked three times and hit by pitches twice to finish the week with a .684 on-base percentage for Coach John Pawlowski's Tigers, who improved their overall record to 27-14 going into a home game on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. vs. Samford. The team will travel to Arkansas for a three-game SEC series Friday through Sunday.
The junior drove home nine runs and scored seven times for the Tigers while improving his batting average to .413 for the season. Morris has 13 home runs, 14 doubles and five triples. He leads the SEC in slugging percentage at .779 plus total bases with 134. He is second in hits with 71, RBI with 53 and homers. He is third in the SEC in doubles and triples and fourth in batting average.
Morris won the award earlier this season after the Tigers swept their opening SEC series at Georgia.
