Christian made the trip with his teammate Andrew Buie, who like Christian is a heavily recruited prospect.
"I?had a lot of fun being on Auburn's campus," Christian tells Inside the Auburn Tigers. "I like the coaches and I like the feel of the school. I think it would be a good fit for me.
"I am going to keep my options open, but I definitely like the coaches and where the Auburn program is headed," Christian says.
A second team All-State selection as a junior on the Class A state runnerup, Christian made 40 tackles and intercepted four passes while adding 866 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns as he averaged 11.9 yards per carry.
Although his offensive numbers are impressive, Auburn and most colleges are recruiting him as a cornerback, which the rising senior says is his best position.
Christian, who says he is 5-11, 190 pounds, is taking a break from his summer baseball for his tour. "I play a lot of baseball during the summer on traveling teams and in showcases, but I am taking this week off to visit a lot of colleges to see where I want to go to college going into my senior year," he notes.
Commenting on what he does best as a football player, Christian says, "I think that my strength is that wherever you put me I am going to make plays that are going to help out the team to win.
"I have been coached up by a good defensive backs coach and I can play cornerback really well,"?he adds.
One of 17 returning starters this season, Christian says his Jacksonville Christian team is going to be strong this fall. "We are planning on winning state this year," he says.
However, before he has a chance to do that he has miles to go and lots of colleges to see.
"I don't really have any favorites because I haven't been around to a lot of colleges to look into them, but I am going to keep my options open and see what I like most."
