BSU Players to Watch: #10 Experience at OL

As the 2013 season approaches, we will look at 10 players that have a chance to make a big impact on the season.

Okay, so we kind of skirted our rules starting off. The #10 Player to Watch for the 2013 season isn't a player at all, but rather a trio of players on the offensive line. They are the three players that provide the most experience returning.

Between them – Jordan Hansel, Jacob Richard & Matt Page haven't started a ton of games, and the overwhelming majority of those come from 3rd year starter Jordan Hansel, but they prove to be the 3 most experienced linemen on the Ball State Football Roster.

Hansel, an All-Mid-American Conference selection, has battled injuries and continues to sit out of summer practice sessions due to an injury. He brings the most experience in his 6-4 326 frame.

Richard, a former walk-on that is a redshirt Sophomore Center, started and/or played in a handful of games backing up the graduated Dan Manick a season ago.

Page, a 5th year Senior, has been a backup his entire career but has seen spot starts and playing time the past few seasons because of injuries to regular starters.

All three must bring their collective starting experience to shore up an offensive line that is replacing 4 of its starters from a year ago.
