2015 Ball State Target: Myrick El

Our series on the 2015 Class and what prospects surely are on the radar for Ball State Football.

Despite standing just 5-9 andw weighing 170, Warren (MI) Michigan Collegiate RB & DB Myrick El has options for his possible position at the Division 1 level. El recently visited Ball State University and has caught the eye of the Cardinal coaching staff with his versatility.

On offense, El proves to be a shifty and quick runner with the ability to cut back and make a big play. Despite his size, he isn't afraid to run between the tackles and even lower his shoulder for extra yards. El looks to be a guy that can make plays in space and should be able to eventually play in the slot as well and run jet sweeps and screens plays.

On defense, El is a solid corner who is physical and not afraid to get into the run game. He has good cover skills despite his less than ideal size for the position.

On either side of the ball, El is a solid player and a division 1 prospect.

Stay tuned to the Ball State Insider as we keep track of Myrick this summer and also bring you all the up to the minute Ball State football and basketball recruiting news.
