Lawrence North did all they could to stop Trey Lyles … unfortunately that meant they couldn't stop Jeremie Tyler.

Tyler, the 6-3 SG from Indianapolis Arsenal Tech and future Ball State Cardinal, exploded for 29 points on 13 of 16 shooting to lead Tech to an easy 82-52 victory over sectional host Lawrence North on Tuesday night.

Tyler also added 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals in the game.

For his senior campaign, Tyler is posting 15.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, 21. Assists and almost 2 steals a game for the 21-2 Titans.

Speaking of leading your team in a big way – Class 3A #1 ranked Greensburg and Ball State signee Sean Sellers, exploded for a massive 105-38 victory over South Dearborn in the opening round of their own sectional on Tuesday night.

Despite sitting the fourth quarter out in the blow out, Sellers posted 30 points (in just 20 minutes of action) on 13 of 17 shoot while also grabbing 12 rebounds and dishing out a pair of assists.

For the season, Sellers is now posting a team high 19.9 points and 7 rebounds a game for the 22-1 Pirates.

Both players return to action on Friday night as Tyler and Tech will battle Lawrence Central and Sellers and Greensburg will play Franklin County.
