Ball State Among Many Suitors for DB

Ball State became the 5th college to offer the Cincinnati Colerain standout Defensive Back.

Ball State is the latest team to join the Jeffrey Christian sweepstakes.

The 5-11 175 DB from Cincinnati's Colerain High School picked up an offer from the Cardinals, his 5th overall on a visit to the Muncie Campus today.

"I took a visit today (to Ball State)," Christian said. "It is a very nice campus and school overall. Coach (Pete Lembo) pulled me in the office and offered."

The Cardinals join fellow Mid-American Conference schools Toledo, Ohio & Western Michigan in offering Christian, who also holds an offer from James Madison.

Christian says he is being recruited by new Ball State TE Coach Pat Dougherty and came away impressed with all the coaches he was able to meet with.

"I talked to all the coaches pretty much and I love the staff," Christian said. "They were very welcoming and were hyped I was there."
