Ball State Close to Offering?

Ball State among long list looking at Noblesville Linebacker.

Ball State has made it a major goal to recruiting Indiana hard since Pete Lembo arrived and that continued today as they hosted Noblesville LB Donavan Lynch.

"It was an amazing experience," Lynch said of his visit. "I got to talk to all the coaches, my recruiting coach Joey Lynch and also Coach Lembo. I talked to him about how awesome and how much fun I had. I also met the strength and conditioning coach (Dave Feeley)."

Aside from having a great time in Muncie, Lynch also got to talk the possibility of an offer with Coach Lynch.

"Coach Lynch brough up to me how he liked offereing kinds in Indiana, which is a great sign," Donavan said. "He also will come to see me lift and stuff. He didn't say they offered me, but he just brought up the fact in general of how he likes giving kids in Indiana scholarships which really boosts my confidence."

Aside from his time with the coaches, Donavan got to take in the facilities and some of the Cardinals Sunday practice.

"I got to go to the press box and just really enjoyed the whole atmosphere," he said. "I got to experience the first full contact practice which was cool."

Lynch isn't done hitting the road though as the 6-1 205 LB will now be visiting Indiana and Purdue in the next weeks along with possible visits to Toledo and Bowling Green.
