Ball State Offers Trio

Ball State was busy this past week offering a trio of Tar Heel State players.

The Ball State football program, during the tenure of Head Coach Pete Lembo, has made North Carolina a place to find hidden talent frequently in the past few years. Despite changes in the coaching staff this offseason, Ball State didn't take their eyes off of the Tar Heel state as just this week, they offered a trio of players.

First is 5-11 185 RB Joshua Allen of Charlotte's Victory Christian Center. Allen also has offers from Appalachian State, Charlotte, Elon, Georgia State, James Madison, Marshall and Mercer. During his junior season, Allen rushed for 1,950 yards and 16 touchdowns in leading Victory Christian to the state runner up.

Ball State also offered 5-11 170 Slot WR prospect Alex Barrow of North Carolina powerhouse Matthews Butler High School. Barrow, who is currently committed to Charlotte, posted 40 receptions for 886 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior despite missing 4 games due to injury. Ball State has done an excellent job getting recruits from Butler with Jahwan Edwards, David Moore and Sean Wiggins all come from there.

The third prospect is Jaire Alexander, a 5-11 170 DB from Mint Hill (Rocky River). Alexander is also currently committed to Charlotte and also has offers from Elon & Charleston Southern.

One more in the south

Ball State was not done this week in the southeast as they also extended an offer to Florida speedster Kezio Snelling.

Snelling, a 6-1 175 WR from Lutz (Steinbrenner) also picked up offers from Purdue, Tulane and South Alabama recently.
