Cardinals Among Offers for Ohio WR

Ohio WR has a handful of Mid-American Conference offers and plenty of Big Ten interest.

Columbus (OH) Hamilton Township WR Deric Phouthavong is one of the top unknown recruits in the Midwest.

The 6-3 187 WR has already picked up a bevy of offers from Mid-American Conference schools and is quickly getting the attention of Big Ten programs.

"I have offers from Toledo, Ball State, Buffalo, Miami of Ohio, Robert Morris, and Western Michigan,' Phouthavong said. "I have interest from Ohio State, Illinois and other Big Ten Schools."

Among those offers is his latest offer from Ball State.

"I've read some of the info that my coach has given me on Ball State," Phouthavong said of what he has learned about the school in the next state over. "And I would say that Ball State is up there on my list."

The smooth and athletic WR is still working on offers and plans on making some stops at top notch schools on his summer camp tour.

"I have the Ohio State camp, Michigan State and Illinois," Phouthavong said. "These are my big time camps because I was invited to each of them."
