Cardinal Commit Capsule: Kyle Schrank

Indiana TE is verbal commitment #5 for Ball State in the Class of 2015

Commit: Kyle Schrank, 6-3 230, Fishers, IN (Hamilton Southeastern)

Why Ball State: "Everything about Ball State was a perfect fit for me. I got a great vibe whenever I visited or talked on the phone with a coach." Regarding Film review from last visit: "We broke down (former Ball State TE) Zane Fakes' film. I expect to play a role similar to what Fakes did in the offense."

Interest/Offers: Offers from Air Force, Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan and Lehigh.

Scouting Report: Schrank is a complete TE that has tons of versatility to his game. He has shown the ability to split out wide and stretch defenses with solid size and speed. He is able to put his hand in the dirt and block and make plays in the short to intermediate route. He is also capable of filling the role of H-back. At 6-3 230, Schrank has similar size to Fakes who was extremely effective as an All-Mid American Conference TE.
