Cardinal Commits Square Off

Two Ball State Football commits from the class of 2015 played head to head Friday night.

New Prairie’s Grant Williamson and Bremen’s Zachary Ricketts went head to head this past Friday night in Indiana High School Football action. The two players are both verbal commitments in the Cardinals 2015 recruiting class. Williamson, a DT, was part of a stalwart defense that helped the Cougars to a 63-19 victory over Ricketts’s Lions. In the contest, the Cougars defensive line held Bremen to just 5 rushing yards and only 232 total yards of offense.

Commit transfers, awaits eligibility

2015 RB commit James Gilbert is once again back at Indianapolis Tech. The 5-9 195 Sr. had transferred along with teammates Damon Webb and Eric Whitehead to Lawrence Central during the summer, unfortunately the IHSAA ruled all three ineligible. So, according to the Indianapolis Star, all three players are heading back to Arsenal Tech to finish out their senior years and hopeful find their way back to the gridiron.

Update on Schrank

Hamilton Southeastern’s Kyle Schrank, a TE commit, grabbed two passes for 31 yards in the Royals 31-10 loss to Avon on Friday. I will be taking a look at Schrank tomorrow night in their matchup with rival Fishers.
