Yorktown’s Todd offered by Ball State

Ball State extended the first offer to a local high school offensive lineman.

Anthony Todd is currently on cloud nine.

The 6-5 305 OT from Yorktown, IN picked up his first offer on Thursday evening from local college – Ball State.

“It feels amazing,” Todd said. “It’s something I’ve always dreamed about since I was a little kid and to finally reach my goals is one great feeling.”

The offer means even more to Todd since Ball State’s football stadium sits a mere 10 minute drive from Yorktown High School.

It means a lot,” Todd said of the significance of the offer coming from Ball State. “I grew up watching Ball State football and to get offered by them was something I have always thought about and am happy it happened.”

The massive Todd has been a 3 years starter for Yorktown, which boasted the talents of Ball State verbal commit Riley Neal at QB, at both OT and DT.

Todd says he is also hearing from Indiana and Purdue.
