2016 Intro: Danny Godlevske

Ball State was the first college to offer the 2016 interior lineman prospect

Danny Godlevske, a 6-3 280 OC from Indianapolis offensive line factory of Bishop Chatard High School picked up an offer from Ball State recently, his first of what will be many.

“It feels awesome getting that first one,” Godlevske said. “Having the first one come from an Indiana school makes it a whole lot better.”

Godlevske learned of the offer during a phone conversation with Ball State offensive coordinator and Indianapolis area recruiter Joey Lynch.

“I know Ball State has a great football tradition,” Godlevske said. “And I can’t wait to learn more about it.”

The tough and physical Godlevske is a high motor kid that wears opponents out with his non-stop effort and physicality.

”I go 110% on every play,” he said of his playing style. “I block until the whistle blows. I play smart and I do my best to be a leader on the field.”

With one offer in hand, Godlevske says he is also hearing from fellow Mid-American Conference schools Miami & Bowling Green along with Northwestern, Vanderbilt and Purdue.
