Timming Visits Ball State

Ball State received a visit from one of the best interior linemen in Ohio this weekend.

JT Timming has already nabbed one offer and hopes to get his second soon after having a quality visit to the Muncie, IN campus.

“The visit was great,” Timming said. “The coaches were all very friendly. I got to see some of the guys workout and it gave me a chance to see how hard they really work.”

Timming, a 6-3 295 OG from Lakota East High School in Ohio, has already picked up an offer from Georgia State. He is hopeful that his visit will spark an offer from Ball State as well.

“I talked to Coach (John) Strollo a lot and had a meeting with Coach (Pete) Lembo,” Timming said. “Coach Lembo said that they just needed to watch my best game film and they would decide from there about an offer.”

As he awaits word from the Cardinal coaching staff, Timming still has several options and other programs on him to choose from.

“I am being recruited by Ohio University, Toledo and Bowling Green,” Timming said. “I have made visits to Toledo, Purdue, Michigan State and Tennessee.”

As Timming, a hardworking and smart player, continues to spend his spring making visits to college football programs, he already has his eyes set on an amazing senior season.

“We are really looking forward to the upcoming season,” Timming said of he and his fellow Lakota East teammates. ”We have been working harder so we have a chance to compete for the state championship in Ohio for division 1 football.”
