Murray Picks Up Ball State Offer

One of the top OTs in Kentucky had a great visit to Ball State. The next day he picked up an offer.

Pineville (KY) Bell County massive OT Nathan Murray had a great visit to Ball State on Saturday. On Sunday, the visit paid off in the form of an offer from the Cardinals.

“I spoke with Coach Daugherty earlier today and he told me that after I left yesterday they had decided to offer me,” Murray said. “It feels great.”

The day before getting the exciting news of his second offer (Murray already held one from Austin Peay) the 6-7 310 OT paid a visit to the Muncie, IN campus and liked what he saw.

“We went on a tour of the campus,” Murray said. “Our guide let us go through some of the buildings, the entire campus is really nice. I had the opportunity to talk to several of the coaches. Coach (Pete) Lembo and all the coaches I met that day were really nice.”

Murray stated after his visit that the Cardinal coaching staff was really impressed with him and liked his film. That interest culminated in the offer.

Aside from Ball State and Austin Peay, Murray is also being recruited by Kentucky, Louisville, Western Kentucky and Ohio.
