Dayton RB Visits Ball State

One of the visitors this past weekend was an under the radar RB from Dayton, OH.

Daryl McCleskey Jr., a 5-9 175 RB from Dayton (OH) Thurgood Marshall, visited Ball State on Friday and came away impressed.

“It went great,” McCleskey said. “I liked everything about it and I think it would be a perfect fit for me.”

McCleskey is a fast RB that lines up in a lot of different spots in Marshall’s offense and is also the PG on the Cougars’ basketball team.

McCleskey, who is also planning visits to Ohio State, Eastern Kentucky and Kentucky, said the Ball State coaches are keeping an eye on him as they contemplate offers.

“They said they have a couple returning players at my position so theirs only 1 or 2 scholarships at RB,” McCleskey said. “They are trying to make sure I am it.”
