St. Louis DB Checks out Ball State

Ball State continues to pick up interest from some of the top prospects in the Show Me State.

St. Louis Christian Brothers standout DB Rashon Davis visited Ball State this past week and came away impressed with the Cardinals’ program.

“It was great, I loved the campus,” the 5-11 165 DB said. “I really felt a sense of the culture and what the school was all about. One thing I can say that really stood out to me was the amount of campus life and the amount of diversity. On the football side, I was able to talk to many of the coaches and find out what I was doing good and what I wasn’t.”

Although he doesn’t have an offer yet, Davis said he has visited Indiana and Northern Iowa and is hearing from Illinois State, Purdue, Notre Dame, Syracuse, Duke and Northwestern.

”I feel that my skills have really improved over the last year,” Davis said. “I feel like my strengths are by ability to get out of breaks and change direction.”

Davis is already getting his summer plans together and will hit as many scouting camps and college camps as he is able to.
