Cronk Has Two Offers

An athletic OL from Indiana picked up two offers recently from Mid-American Conference schools.

He is 6-5 250 and plays LB for his high school team.

It is this level of athleticism that has college coaches taking note of Lafayette (IN) Central Catholic OT Coy Cronk.

The 6-5 250 OT picked up an offer first from Miami earlier last week followed by an offer from Ball State.

“It is very humbling to get an offer from a great coach like Coach (Pete) Lembo,” I met with all of the coaches today (Friday) and Coach Lembo sat me down and offered me.”

While in Muncie, Cronk had a chance to talk to the coaching staff and came away impressed.

“I met Coach (Daryl) Dixon last year,” Cronk said. “but I really enjoy the staff and their football philosophies.”

With his recruiting interest heating up schools are beginning to take note of more than just Cronk’s athleticism.

“Coaches love my size and how my body has developed,” Cronk said. “They love that I am athletic enough to play LB and my leadership.”
