Instate QB Gets Ball State Offer

A rising QB prospect from Fort Wayne picked up his first offer from Ball State this week.

Isaac Stiebeling, a 6-5 200 athletic QB from Fort Wayne (IN) powerhouse Snider High School picked up his first offer of the spring from Ball State.

“It was really exciting for me,” Stiebeling said. “The offer shows that all my hard work is beginning to pay off.”

Stiebeling received the good news the a few days after auditioning for Cardinals Offensive Coordinator Joey Lynch.

”I threw for Coach Lynch Thursday morning,” Stiebeling said. “I called him that night and he told me they would bring my name up in the coaches’ staff meeting the next day. They really liked me and I got the call with the offer on Saturday afternoon.”

After throwing for 1,400 yards and 12 touchdowns while completing 61% of his passes, Stiebeling will be hitting the road this summer to hopefully earn some more offers along the way. His summer time journey started with an appearance at The Opening in Chicago this past weekend.

“It was a great experience,” Stiebeling said. “I learned a lot of new things that I can implement in my training.”

Already holding an offer from the Cardinals, Stiebeling says he is also hearing from Eastern Michigan, Bowling Green, Toledo, and Miami(OH) and Western Michigan.
