South Carolina ATH Excelled At Ball State Cam

One of the players that traveled the furthest to camp at Ball State was one of the best.

Rock Hill (SC) South Pointe QB Greg Ruff was a surprise name on the list of campers attending the first Ball State Prospect camp of the summer on Monday, and he came away making a great impression.

Ruff, a 5-9 170 athlete, projects as a Slot WR or RB at the collegiate level, had a solid camp a day after turning heads at the R.A.S. Camp up in Fort Wayne (IN) the day before.

”I did very good,” Ruff said of his performance on the day. “It went really well and it was good competition.”

Ruff, who has no offers yet, but is hearing from Eastern Michigan, Toledo and Kennesaw State along with Ball State, said he received some positive feedback from the Ball State staff.

They said I did well,” Ruff said. “They said they would keep in touch with me.”

Ruff isn’t done putting in work on the camp circuit though for the summer, along with the two camps this weekend, Ruff is planning a few more.

”Next week, I’m going to the Sound Mind Sound Body,” Ruff said. “And on June 14th I’m going down to Kennesaw State.
