Tall Indiana WR Attends Ball State Camp

The Cardinals are among teams that are looking at a three-sport star from Northern Indiana.

Will Chrisman is an athlete that will catch your eye. At 6-7 195 the long and lanky WR from DeKalb (IN) is an all-around athlete. His size stands out at first glance, but his talent level is equally as impressive.

Monday, Chrisman was able to put those skills to the test at the first Ball State Summer Prospect Camp in Muncie.

“It went well, I thought I played pretty good just getting back into the swing of things,” said Chrisman, who just finished competing in the 200 meter dash at the Indiana State Championship Track and Field Meet. “They (the Ball State coaches) thought I played well too from what they said.”

Being a multisport athlete means Chrisman has a difficult decision ahead of him – which sport to choose at the next level. Currently Chrisman has yet to earn a football scholarship, but that is not deterring him.

”I’m looking for the best between schools in their academic fields,” Chrisman, who holds and offer from Huntington University for basketball, said. “I really enjoy both (basketball and football).”

Chrisman is hearing currently from Purdue, Indiana, Indianapolis, Toledo, Eastern Michigan, Marian College and Ball State and is looking to camp at both Eastern and Purdue later this summer.
