Sellars Travels to Ball State

A Florida OG/DT traveled to Muncie this week in an effort to see Ball State and hopefully get an offer.

Ernest Sellars, a 6-2 285 OG/DT from Fort Lauderdale (FL) Dillard traveled to Muncie, IN this week to meet with the coaching staff and unofficially visit the campus.

"It was good," Sellars said. "I really like the facilities there."

Sellars was not able to get an offer from the Cardinals, but is hopefully he will once the season rolls around.

"No (offer)," Sellars said. "They have to evaluate my film first."

Sellars is still in search for his first offer, but has been recruited by schools like Indiana, Purdue, Florida International, Jacksonville State, Harvard, Princeton, Stony Brook, Albany and South Florida.

The versatile Sellars, is able to play both interior offensive line and defensive tackle and hopes that his ability to shine on both sides of the ball pays dividends with an offer soon.

"I'm quick off the ball and move people out the way with ease," Sellars said. "My strengths are pass blocking at any position on the (offensive) line and I can also play d-line at nose, the 1 technique and 3 technique."
