Breakdown: As a former standout RB, Martin brings tons of athleticism and natural read/react skills to the table. Playing his first full season as a MIKE, Martin is still certainly learning, but he has the body and athleticism to make plays. A runner/hitter type right now, Martin will see his initial impact on special teams. As a LB, Martin flows well with good speed. He is able to read well in the run game and attacks downhill. A strong tackler, Martin brings a good impact in the short area and also is solid in open space and in one-on-one situations. Martin is still learning in the passing game, but gets good depth and reads the QB well.

Projection: It’s going to be a year or two, but Martin will be an impact player. A true “under-the-radar” performer, Martin is a projection player that will develop over time. His upside is tremendous and with a solid work ethic he can reach his potential.
