Carter Seeing Recruiting Taking Off

Illinois Tight End has started to see his recruiting take off recently with two offers already on the table.

It wasn’t until this month that Wheaton-Warrenville South TE Jaylin Carter started seeing his recruiting really take off.

This past week Carter picked up his first two offers – the first from Ball State and the second from Eastern Illinois – and more could be on the way.

” Yeah it's my first offer (Ball State) but I got another one today,” Carter said. “It felt really good to be honest it boosted up my confidence a little bit in the whole process of getting offers and stuff.”

Carter, a 6-4 235 TE, is also hearing from Northern Illinois, Miami (OH), Robert Morris and Iowa.

” I believe what separates me from other players is my ability to go out in space and create mismatches for the other team,” Carter said. “I'm not only good at catching but I'm also a very dominant blocker as well. So I think I can be a big part of any schools offensive side of the ball. I can also play a little DE so we will see what the schools want out of me. But I'm ready to play if it's TE or DE.”
