Cardinals are the second offer for 2017 standout

Ball State joined Ohio in offering Class of 2017 Western Ohio RB

Piqua (OH) RB Darien Tipps-Clemons picked up his second offer from a Mid-American Conference school on Wednesday night when Ball State offered.

"I don't know much about the program," Clemons confessed about Ball State. "But I for sure will follow them now."

Clemons, who is a big 6-1 215 RB, plans on visiting Ball State soon. The RB, who also has an offer from Ohio, ran for 1,664 yards and 24 touchdowns in 11 games this past season as a junior.

Aside from the pair of Mid-American Conference schools, Clemons said that he has been getting followed on Twitter by an abundance of coaches, but hasn't had direct contact with too many.

"My game is fast and I'm a hard hitter if I need to," Clemons said of his game. "I love the contact and being dominant over a defense. I can play through a lot. Teams stack the box and I still get the job done. I bring high energy as well."
