Ohio RB has a great time in Muncie

Fresh off of his offer from Ball State, Piqua (OH) RB Darien Tipps-Clemons visited Muncie, IN.

Piqua (OH) RB Darien Tipps-Clemons admitted a week ago when he picked up an offer from the Ball State Cardinals, that he knew little, if anything about the football program in Muncie, IN. All of that changed today when the 6-1 214 athlete made a trip to visit Ball State.

"(The visit was) Great!," Tipps-Clemons said. "They showed lots of love and I really like what I saw and how they do things. It is a great place. Great, great coaches too. I really liked them all."

During his visit, Tipps-Clemons was able to meet with each of the Cardinal coaching staff.

"I think they are really cool guys and they showed lots of love," he said about the staff. "They have great goals for Ball State and see me fitting just right in those plans."

Tipps-Clemons also liked what he saw out of the Cardinals' facilities.

"They were great," he said. "They are very nice and looked very good. I like what they have going on."

Tipps-Clemons, who also holds an offer from Ohio, will be visiting Rutgers this weekend and then Pittsburgh the following week.
