Kentucky DB Adds Offer from Ball State

One of the top Defensive Backs in the state of Kentucky picked up his third offer this week.

Louisville (KY) DuPont Manual DB Bryce Cosby picked up his third offer on Tuesday when Ball State extended an offer.

"It was a great feeling," Cosby said of the offer from the Cardinals. "I was already kind of familiar with Ball State since I attended their camp this past offseason and I have family spread out all over Indiana. But overall, I was very excited and thankful for the opportunity."

Cosby has been in contact with Tight Ends Coach Patrick Dougherty for a while and has extended his relationships with the Ball State staff's newest addition.

"I've spent a lot of time talking with (DBs) Coach (Chevis) Jackson and Coach Dougherty," Cosby said. "From the sounds of it, the new staff looks great. I know that the new head coach (Coach Mike Neu) just came from the New Orleans Saints. Then, the DB coach (Coach Jackson) came from LSU and he spent some time in the League as well. So, their credentials as a staff really stick out."

Aside from his offers (Ball State as well as Eastern Kentucky and Army) Cosby, a 5-11 179 corner, is also hearing from LouisvilleWestern KentuckyVirginiaNavyIndianaPurdue and Miami (Oh).

"I'm thankful for all the offers I have at this point," Cosby said. "I wouldn't say I have a school I'm leaning towards or anything. But right now I'm just focused on becoming a better player for my senior season each and every day."
