Michigan RB Enjoys Time in Muncie

Michigan RB visited Ball State for Spring Practice and came away very impressed.

Macomb (MI) Dakota RB Kaiser Carleton really enjoyed his visit to Ball State for spring practice. There is no doubt about that.

"Ball state was awesome," Carleton said. "It felt like home. If offered they will get a commitment."

Carleton, a 5-9 177 RB with offers from Ohio and Western Michigan, had plenty of great things to say about his day in Muncie, IN.

"I loved how the coaches connect with the players and how they keep everything high tempo and professional, "Carleton said. "It makes you want to be a part of that. The coaching staff caught my eye."

Although, as of right now, Carleton did not come away from the visit with an offer in hand, he did get some positive feedback from the staff.

"I've been in touch with Coach (Kevin) Lynch, the running backs coach, and (WR) Coach (Alex) Bailey is my guy for sure and gives me a positive energy and they have talked of an offer coming soon and if they do," Carleton said. "That will be a game changer. Everything is amazing here and serves a validation to keep working for an offer."

Along with his offers he has in hand and the interest from Ball State, Carleton is also hearing from Michigan State, Cincinnati, Bowling Green, Iowa and Arizona.

"I am a very coachable player and I can be the player the coaches want me to be," Carleton said about what he brings to a program. "I am a game changer and a chain mover. I make my teammates better and make them want to be better."
